Animal Rescue

When I am finished with my schooling I want to own a no-kill animal rescue. I choose this profession because animals are my passion. I want to be able to help them to get off the street and into safe loving homes. I recently lost my dog who was killed by a speeding truck. I do not want any other animals to meet the same fate and the only way I can think to do that is to keep them off the street. I have had my passion for animals since I was a little kid. I have always enjoyed the company of our dogs and horses growing up and my love for them just never left.
I am planning on getting my degree in business management so that when I do have my animal rescue I will be able to run it efficiently. I want to be able to do everything I can to supply for the animals and keep them healthy, happy, and safe. My shelter will not be like other no-kill shelters though. I will give any pet at least one try instead of turning away the aggressive ones or the sick. The only time I would euthanize is if the animal was too sick or aggressive. I want to make a happier place for the unwanted animals in our world.

Hello everyone! My name is Diana. I am 19 years of age. I live in Prescott, Az with 5 roomates including one of my best friends. I am single(thank God! lol). I am going to Yavapai College to get my Associates of Business. I dream of one day owning a no kill animal shelter. I currently work at PetSmart as a dog bather and I love my job more than anything. I have two people that I truly call my best friends. I love Ryan and Heather with all my heart. I don't like fighting but when it comes to my friends and family I will kick someones ass.
